The results of the evaluation of quality assurance measures ("Jahresbericht Qualitätssicherung") and of performance parameters ("Jahresbericht Evaluation") are reported annually to the parties to the Federal Framework Agreement for Physicians and to the Federal Joint Committee of Public Health Agencies.

Performance parameters and early indicators are evaluated annually for the German mammography screening programme. The most important of these are the invitation and participation rates, the re-invitation rate, the breast cancer detection rate and the stage distribution.
